Excellus BlueCross Blue ShieldPartners + Napier discovered that people over 65 feel an average of 12 years younger than they actually are, inspiring a simple experiment that helped to tell a new story.
Sharon NapierChief Executive OfficerSharon is chief architect and business leader of Partners + Napier. In 2004, Sharon led the management buyout to launch Partners + Napier, today a 125-person agency in Rochester, NY, with service offices in NYC and San Francisco. Among Sharon’s many titles: founder, CEO, wife, mom, dog-lover, fitness fanatic, and proud, pasta-loving Italian-American. With 30+ years of agency and brand-building experience, it’s no wonder Advertising Age has recognized her as one of the most influential women in the industry. Nor is it surprising that she’s told her story numerous times in the New York Times’ Corner Office and is a regular on the speaker’s circuit, including Advertising Week, Mirren Live, 4A’s Transformation and Ad Age’s Small Agency Conference. Sharon also serves on Project Worldwide’s Global Strategic Leadership Team, helping steer the “un-holding company” as it continues to make waves and headlines.
Courtney CotrupeManaging DirectorFamily, one of Partners + Napier’s bedrock values, means everything to Courtney, both in and out of the office. As managing director of Partners + Napier, she strategically leads clients by building strong relationships, mentoring talent, and assembling agency teams to deliver the absolute best solutions for clients’ toughest challenges. Since making the move to Partners from Ogilvy & Mather in 2004, such clients as BMW Financial Services, ConAgra, Bob Evans, Gannett, Keurig, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Constellation Brands and Delta Vacations have benefited from her sharp, strategic thinking. And her creative soul. At home, she and her husband are raising two young kids, meaning her days are packed as she successfully tackles the work-life balance thing. No wonder she snagged the Ad Council’s highly prestigious Spark Award and Chairman’s Award for outstanding community leadership – and received a spot on the Rochester Business Journal's “40 Under 40 list.”
Pete VonDerLinnExecutive Creative DirectorBrave work that works. For Pete, that’s what it’s all about. But while he’s racked up a bunch of industry honors for creativity and craft, Pete has demonstrated an uncanny knack for driving bottom line results. As Executive Creative Director at Partners + Napier, he imbues that same passion for creating brave, business-building work across the agency. After launching his career at BBDO, Pete joined Saatchi & Saatchi, eventually landing at Partners + Napier in 2004. His creative chops have benefited such brands as BMW and MINI Financial Services, Keurig, Ravenswood, DuPont, Bausch + Lomb and USA Today. His brave work that works approach has been recognized by the Effie Awards, the One Show, the Clios, Advertising Age’s Creativity and BtoB Best Awards, PRINT and the American Advertising Awards. Under Pete’s leadership, Partners has won four times more Addy ROI Awards than any other agency in their region.
