IBM THINK, JAPAN

When IBM moved Think Japan to the Hotel Okura Tokyo, the new venue opened the door to an entirely new and unprecedented attendee experience. Historically, the Think Forum exhibition area often struggled with low traffic, resulting in quiet periods that made it difficult to justify significant activations or sponsorships for the space. Then, a major shift occurred. After top executives experienced the “AI Sports Club" at Think Boston, they issued a clear direction to bring the exact experience to Japan. This initiative found its perfect setting in the Hotel Okura's unique layout. The design allowed the main Keynote hall and the Think Forum exhibition area to be seamlessly integrated on the same floor.

The result was transformative. The exhibition area thrived with nonstop activity, bustling with energy unlike any previous year, with attendees enthusiastically engaging with the activations. Crowds gathered enjoying table tennis at “Calling The Shot," while others lined up to experience the “Ferrari Drive Simulator."
